Zone Transit — Oxford Radar

What you will do

  1. Step 1

    Call Oxford Radar from 8 miles south at 2000 feet and request a northbound zone transit.

  2. Step 2

    Read back squawk, altitude restriction, and the report-entering instruction.

  3. Step 3

    You are entering the ATZ — report entering the zone.

  4. Step 4

    Acknowledge report leaving the zone. Make the leaving call only once you are clear of the ATZ.

  5. Step 5

    Clear of the ATZ to the north — report leaving the zone.

  6. Step 6

    Read back squawk 7000 and frequency change approved.
